H&M continues its eco commitment
H&M continues with its ecological commitment during 2009, both when it comes to ecological cotton and new recycled material.
In the spring collection there are garment made from recycled cotton and polyester. The latter comes from recycled PET bottles whilst the recycled cotton comes from left over pieces in the production.
The target when it comes to the ecological cotton is to increase the use of this with 50% compared to 2008.
“We are glad to be able to keep offering garments that are trendy as well as sustainable. We have had good response on our eco fashion which shows that our customers care both about the environment and design”, says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design at H&M.
All garments on the pictures are from the spring collection and will be available in shops from January until March 2009.
