Stenströms - Art Edition

Stenströms is one of many old Swedish clothing companies that are now adjusting to the present and are relaunching in new ways through modern channels. One step is “Stenströms – Art Edition”, an exhibition that showed Stenström´s shirts in a new way at Enskilda Galleriet in Stockholm.

 

 

 

Stenströms, or Stenströms Shirt Factory that is the real name, have invited five Nordic artists to create a new pattern for a special edition shirt. The fabrics have then been manufactured by one of the best producers in Italy and finally been sown to shirts by Stenströms.

Each shirt is manufactured in a limited edition and is numbered.



The five artists are; Oscar Aglert, Sweden, Mette Winckelmann, Denmark, Josefin Lyche, Norway, Elin Hansdottir, Iceland and Vesa-Pekka Rannikko, Finland.
