TOMS Shoes at Nitty Gritty

Blake Mycoskie has become very famous for his “one for one” shoe project that has helped 140´000 poor children to get… shoes.

Blake got the idea after a trip to South America where he met a lot of poor kids and realized they did not have shoes to protect their feet. Upon returning to the US he started a company with a simple idea; for each pair of shoes sold he would give one pair to a child in need. So far TOMS have given over 140´000 pairs of shoes to children in need.

Now Swedes have the chance to help as well since the shoes are available at Nitty Gritty at Krukmakargatan. The TOMS Shoe is inspired by the classic espadrille so perfect for the sunny days we are enjoying now and over the summer. They are available in four colours for women and four for men.
