Uphill for Åhléns purchase of DSE?
In March 2009 Åhlengruppen and RNB signed a deal that gave Åhléns the right to buy RNB´s shops (Department and Stores Europe, DSE) at NK in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The deal will now be tried in court in Stockholm.

Fashion retailer Kappahl reported increased sales during their fourth quarter that last from June to August.
Odd Molly to open shop in LA
Swedish bohemian luxury label Odd Molly opened their first own shop in Stockholm in the beginning of 2009. Following the success of this the company has now decided to open in Los Angeles.
H&M Q1 - Q3
H&M increased sales as well as profit during the first nine month period of the year. Sales were not up as much as expected due to low summer sales estimates.
Slow fashion sales in August
Well it wasn´t really the sales cause as we still remember the sales on shoes and clothes were phenomenal this summer, but as always they affected the total revenues.
Fantastic July for clothes and shoes
The quick index from the Swedish Retailers Association (Svensk Handel) shows that sales of clothes and shoes in July is in line with what was predicted – fantastic.
